That's what I read. no problem for me I'm running a custom PC but a few people i know who play it are having to look at long skills on eve and buying a new machine if this doesn't work for them. Same here... Performance-wise I wasn't having any issues with everything jacked up on Duality... Haven't tried on SiSi yet. I like Incarna, and have been waiting and hoping they would finally get around to it for as far back as Eve Beta. I DONT like that they are forcing those who are not interested into it, let alone causing problems for people who simply don't have a PC that can handle it.

And that was before. The final release might be MUCH longer... So if they really do end up being as long as they have claimed, then I can understand why its taking so long.

Are your newer computers using on-board cards with shared resources? It's the only reason I can think of why the old would out-perform the new... I was thinking that it could possibly be driver issues as well. I was actually going to be reformatting/reinstalling everything on one of the newer PC's this week already. Going to try testing performance again at that point. You hear a lot of people with newer hardware complain about the performance of Incarna when it was on Duality and SiSi. Most of the reasons I could think of are all driver related... But unsure.
